Almost all the countries where one can get further education in life require them to be eligible with English Language practically and theoretically. Therefore, they ask for a proof of English Language. Students are required to give a proficiency test like IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo or PTE. Most of the students prefer IELTS and PTE tests as educational institutions in most countries have a flexible criteria regarding them.
